Summary
For the launch of the highly anticipated new Maruti Swift, the challenge was to create a marketing campaign that would cut through the noise and build a strong, personal connection with potential customers.
The answer was an innovative, AI-powered experience called "Become a Swifter".
My Role
My primary responsibilities for the "Become a Swifter" campaign revolved around crafting the user-facing experience, ensuring it was intuitive, engaging, and technically robust.
- Designed the entire multi-step, mobile-first user journey.
- Developed the web app in React, including camera API integration, form/AI backend submissions, and ensuring responsiveness.
- Ensured seamless integration of all design, branding, and interactive components.
User Journey
We designed a simple, mobile-first web experience to guide users through the process. The journey was designed to be quick, fun, and highly engaging.
Take a Selfie : The experience begins with the user taking a quick selfie directly through their browser.
Personalize Your Swift : Users then provide some basic information, such as gender and their preferred color for the new Swift.
Submit & Confirm : With a final click to confirm, the user's data is sent to our AI image generation engine.
The Big Reveal : A short while later, the user receives a message containing their personalized image—a high-quality picture of their face seamlessly integrated into a lifestyle shot of someone driving the new Swift.
Impacts
The Become a Swifter campaign was a monumental success, using brilliant AI to create wonderfully personal experiences.
It turned viewers into active fans, sparking massive user engagement and incredible virality.
This project showed the power of smart AI and beautiful design working together to create a truly memorable brand moment that audiences loved and shared everywhere.
